Ian Turner is a Chartered Consulting Engineer and Chartered Environmentalist. He is a registered European Engineer and a Chartered Engineer through several engineering institutions including the Electrical, Plant, Measurement and Control and Building Services Institutions. He is also a Chartered Environmentalist through the Society for the Environment. Ian has been a member of the IEE's (and IET's) lecturing team since 1990. During 1997 he was the recipient of 'The Plant Engineer of the Year' award presented by the Institution of Plant Engineers. In 1999 he was appointed an Honorary Fellow of the IPlantE and in 2000 an Honorary Fellow of the Society of Operations Engineers.
