Dramatherapist and social anthropologist, Sue Jennings trained as a dancer and actress and performed professionally in the theatre before teaching and then innovating the application of drama as therapy. She was a founder member of the British Association of Dramatherapy, and held the first Research Fellowship in Dramatherapy at St John's College, York.Until recently she was a senior lecturer and course leader in Dramatherapy and Social Anthropology at Hertfordshire College of Art and Design, St Albans.Currently she is conducting research with abusing families in a social services department and working with infertility at a London teaching hospital.She is consultant dramatherapist to Hertfordshire College of Art and Design and to the Arts and Therapy Centre, Athens.
