CHOICE Review

This handbook incorporates all the major advances in the plastics industry since the previous edition was published (4th ed, CH, Mar'77). "Handbook" may be a misnomer, since this work is more in the form of a textbook or encyclopedia. It has been almost completely rewritten to bring it up to date, including new illustrations and even new terms in the glossary. There is extensive new coverage of reinforced plastics, cellular plastics, composites, and the latest processes. An excellent source for anyone solving design or production problems, for students studying plastics, and for engineering faculty.-J. P. Neville, Wentworth Institute of Technology
