(It is Booklist policy that a book by a regular contributor receive a brief descriptive announcement rather than a recommending review.)Two more self-revealingly titled tomes from the man one of his publishers calls "the master himself." The first describes software packages sorted into 12 topical chapters including "Desktop Publishing Packages," "Painting and Drawing Programs," "Typefaces and Fonts," and "Clip Art and Template Collections." Besides descriptive comments, annotations include program type, vendor, hardware requirements, additional software needs, and current cost for each entry. Dewey's other new book is an alphabet of fan clubs and their addresses, filed by keyword (e.g., Nimoy in the Leonard Nimoy Fan Club) and indexed by subject. ~--Ray Olson
