The third edition of this lucid, well illustrated and highly readable book includes chapter overviews, summaries, a case study, and expanded material throughout (particularly in chapters five and nine). within them develops to a discussion of the requirements of the development process in chapter one. Many development methods have emerged. Chapter two defines the term, introduces the traditional approach and discusses challenges to it which have led to alternatives.
