Dr Amy Backos, PhD, ATR-BC is a licensed psychologist and registered and board-certified art therapist based in San Francisco, CA. She is the Chair of the Graduate Art Therapy Psychology Program in the San Francisco Bay area and has over 24 years of experience working with adults, young people, and children who have experienced intimate partner violence, combat trauma, sexual assault, and substance abuse disorders.
