I paint mostly with acrylics, but sometimes I use oil paint in a gestural manner. The mood and tone of a painting is important to me. My main concerns involve how we define ourselves online, and how this effects us. Does our profile picture on social media allow us to express who we really are? Or can we build an online facade and escape from reality? I m also interested in the fact that social media is interfering with the way we participate in life and how this constant distraction means that we are never 100% in the moment" - artist's statement.
