- Information found: (James Levine died on March 9 in Palm Springs, California. He was 77. His death was confirmed on Wednesday morning. The cause was not immediately released. He was suspended, then fired from the Met in 2018, after accusations of sexual improprieties. He was the musical director of the Boston Symphony Orchestra for seven years, starting in 2004. He was music director of the Munich Philharmonic for five years (1999-2004).)
