Wind ensembles (Topical Term)

Here are entered compositions not in a specific form or of a specific type for ten or more solo brass and woodwind instruments, and collections of compositions in several forms or types for various numbers or combinations of solo brass and woodwind instruments. Compositions for ensembles of brass or woodwind instruments only are entered under Brass ensembles or Woodwind ensembles.

When used for an accompanying ensemble in headings with medium of performance, the term "wind ensemble" stands for two or more wind instruments.
